Goroots operates an air spade which is a device that Decompacts soils by compressed air. Compressed Air is forced through a special nozzle at around 700 m/sec. This removes the soil while leaving tree roots and services undamaged.

When required the air spade is a fast and accurate method for the removal of soils for investigating sub soil conditions

It is possible to replace the removed soil or mix in additional mulches to improve the fertility if required.

The air spade can excavate deep holes for foundations in delicate areas. We have considerable experience and if you have a site that may need the air spade please call.

Mountain Tractor Hire

tomo_emerging_from_the_forestGoroots have a 18hp 4wheel drive mountain tractor available for immediate employment by you or your organisation.

These Mountain Tractors were originally designed for working in vineyards where they were expected to operate on steep slopes and narrow escarpments.

We have found it ideal for maintenance of steep slopes and the preparation of seed beds prior to hydroseeding. Our mountain tractor is also available for cutting grass on steep slopes such as reservoirs, embankments and landfill sites.

With equal wheels, a low centre of gravity and 4 wheel drive we can operate in remote and inaccessible locations.

This mountain tractor features twin counter rotating PTO shafts for any attachments.

For grass cutting, soil preparation, difficult access or transporting materials in remote locations our mountain tractor will get there causing much less damage than almost any other method.

Our Air spade equipment as well as our other plant is available for hire with a fully trained operators who fully understand our systems.

The Air Spade can be hired on a daily rate or a single Lump Sum for larger sites.

Our Mountain Tractor is available for daily hire only.

To hire or discuss the Air Spade or Mountain Tractor please call David Dowding here.
