The mulch is a critical element this should be wood based and applied at a rate of at least 200KG/ HA anything less gives poor results. Paper Mulches are much cheaper but perform poorly in dry conditions. We use 100% wood mulch, top quality Amenity seed mixes as opposed to Agricultural. For each application we select an optimum fertilizer and tackifier.
